The world of ZURCO
We design and make architectural-grade ceramic furniture, wall art, home decor and tiles.
At ZURCO we fuse high-fired ceramics, design and architecture to create exceptional finishes.
Through experimentation we reach extraordinary colours, textures and forms, complemented by the organic touch of handcrafted production: every piece is made by hand, one by one.
We work with high-fired stoneware, coated in glazes we formulate ourselves in our workshop from natural oxides and minerals. This combination — high-fired body and our own natural glazes — is rare in ceramic furniture, and it is what lets us reach unique colours and textures of the highest quality.
We fire at 1,220 °C: the exact temperature at which the body vitrifies. The result is pieces fit for indoors and outdoors, resilient during installation and throughout their life.

Story
From a ceramics factory to a design house
ZURCO was born inside an industrial ceramics factory in Zapopan, Jalisco — a place with years of experience manufacturing ceramics at scale, mastering the high-fire process from formula to kiln.
A simple question followed: what if that same technical knowledge served architectural design instead of volume?
So ZURCO was born — an independent design house that uses that industrial base as a platform, with a different ambition: pieces conceived for architects, made by hand, built to last generations rather than seasons.

Design
Every piece starts in our studio, conceived for the scale and use of the space.

Glaze
We formulate our glazes from natural oxides and minerals.

Made by hand
We mould, finish and glaze every piece by hand, one by one.

Firing
High fire (1,220 °C): the body vitrifies and the piece is ready for indoors and outdoors.

We deliver with a hanging guide or support installation on projects.
